I think therapy for me is like a puzzle, sometimes I can’t figure something out and then I talk to Paul and it’s like he sheds light on my issue and then I see my issue for what it is. Paul is very accommodating to his clients. Try Paul, his flexible schedule allowed me time to schedule an appointment at a later hour.

I have only had a few sessions with Paul and already it’s made a difference. I have enjoyed the challenge of working on myself with him asking attentive questions to push me in the right direction. He seems to truly listen and doesn’t entertain my rambling tangents , particularly if he has a certain point he wants to discuss. He is my second therapist on this platform and I’m so glad I made the change

More about Paul

  • 8 years' experience
  • Male
  • LPC

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor working in the field with adults and couples for the last 6 years. I have worked with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual identity issues, and addiction. There is not a population of people I feel uncomfortable working with.

My therapeutic approach is a combination of psychodynamic, humanistic, and reality therapy. My goal as a therapist is to help you meet your goals, while becoming obsolete. I want you to be able to live your life as free as possible and no longer have a need for me.

I am an EMDR trained therapist, which has been an instrumental tool in working with individuals suffering from trauma such as loss of a loved one or rape. For more information on EMDR follow this link: https://www.emdr.com/what-is-emdr/

I would describe my counseling style as non-judgmental, genuine, warm, and solution-focused. I will help you get to wherever you need to go, whether that's a better sense of self, better work ethic, or lower depressive or anxious levels. I am also here if you just need an unbiased 3rd party listen to your issues in a confidential setting.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Paul is very patient, listens and offers great advice. It is difficult to find a therapist that understands LGBTQ+ issues and provide appropriate and genuine support and advice and tools to work with. Definitely recommend!

He’s great, listens and is always there! Couldn’t recommend a better therapist.

Paul is fantastic. Therapy feels low-pressure, but also goal-oriented in a way I haven’t experienced before. He’s a fantastic listener, and also helps me turn my random thoughts into goals and actions — with plenty of room for changing course when something doesn’t work. Would absolutely recommend him!!

I struggled with finding a suitable therapist for a while when first using this platform. I was looking for a therapist who makes me feel at ease, who I can share almost everything without fearing being judged. I am glad I was finally matched with one who checks almost all the boxes.

Paul has great insights and is always willing to try something new or pivot if something isn't working or not what you want to pursue. He does a great job at listening to your needs, and supporting you through the journey that you choose.

Paul is Respectful, understanding and makes you feel at ease very quickly. Having had Therapy in the past it can sometimes be daunting, Paul helps you put that aside in a short time. Paul gives great home work that assists in assessing some of our actions. Paul is also great at checking in and utilises this app to its best ability. Honestly Paul Farley is a 10 out of 10 and I’ve felt fully supported with the work we have done in such a short time.
