Patient Communications Expectations: I am so happy to all folks who reach out. I will be able to respond to all communication during Monday-Friday within a 24 hour time period unless I notify you of days off. If you contact me Friday after 5pm I will not be able to get back to you until Monday during normal business hours.
I am an individual therapist for the past 9 years. I have experience in inpatient hospitals, private practice, and outpatient clinics. I am also currently involved in mental health research for treatment resistant mood disorders. I like to be at the cutting edge of mental health treatment not only to expand my scope of practice but to also give those who I work with the newest researched backed options to help them feel better.
I like to partner with the people I work with to create a plan that works for them and that is achievable. I am well versed in the following therapeutic techniques and like to use multiple theories during sessions as a “one-size” fits all approach doesn’t work for most people. Treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, psychodynamic, humanistic, motivational, exposure therapy, internal family systems, poly-vagal theory, to name a few are well researched techniques that can provide relief to people who are able to put them into practice.
The first step in reaching out for help is one of the most difficult. I like to create a non-judgmental, open and creative space to work toward problem solving and symptom relief. I look forward to working with you and helping build a life where you are happy and proud.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
