I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My therapy style is strengths-based and utilizes a combination of eclectic and traditional treatment modalities. I am active in my therapy style, meaning I frequently ask questions and provide input as opposed to a style which focuses predominantly on listening. However, if you prefer me to listen, I can do that as well.
My specialty areas include anxiety/anxiety-based disorders, eating disorders, depression, relationship issues, women's issues, life transitions, career change (especially mid-life career change), and parent coaching. I work with clients who seek to improve their mental health, strengthen their family, personal or professional lives, or want to set and reach new goals.
Specializing in treating adults, adolescents, and therapy for the therapist.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Susan is wonderful and I enjoyed working with her
I'm very impressed with Susan, she's a good listener and very empathic. She's experienced in therapy. I really can't say much more because I've only met with her 3 times.
I’ve only had one session with Sue so far but I was very happy with how it went. I felt comfortable discussing problems with her and appreciated her pragmatism in helping me lay out a path towards addressing them. Her style of therapy seemed grounded but not formulaic.
Very knowledgeable and helpful!

Susan is a very kind and very understanding person
My time with Susan has been very healing. I highly recommend Susan, especially if you are a survivor of narcissistic personality disorder abuse, childhood trauma, and anxiety. She is compassionate, validating, and understands the complex issues that arise from being psychologically abused, especially in one's family of origin. Please do yourself a favor and book time with Susan if you are ready to heal and find your inner resilience guided by a qualified and intuitive therapist.

Susan Morton was a wonderful therapist and someone I could rely on every week to sit down and talk with. She helped me through family conflicts, trauma, depression. The clinical approach I found most effective was the CBT method. I will be forever grateful to her and Betterhelp for helping me through some tough months during the pandemic.

Susan is very easy to talk to and very reaffirming in her responses. If you are working on your anxiety, she would be a great person to engage in a conversation with and see if it's the right fit
