Hi!! My name is Tina Jones-Wallace and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor (LPCC-S) in the state of Kentucky. I have been practicing all together for 14 years. I started out as a School-Based Counselor working within a public school system seeing all ages from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Then I moved into the outpatient setting seeing anyone who walked through the door. I believe the best way to learn is to be hands on, ask questions when you don't understand, and be very aware of the resources that are at your disposal. During my outpatient years, my youngest client was 3 years old and my oldest was 61. I am well versed in addictions, anxiety, depression, parenting, and working with a lot of severely ill adults. I am a person that loves to help others and to support anyone on their journey to accomplish whatever goals they set forward. I have spent the last 6 years years working in crisis and dealing with people who are suicidal or overwhelmed. Working with Tina has opened my eyes wide. I was very confused before but I knew something was wrong and she had helped me start to notice where that feeling is coming from and how to build around it. Even though it's only been a couple of weeks I feel like I'm already in a better headspace. I feel listened to and important, I also feel validated as she makes sure to point out my strengths to me when I don't see them. I feel like that boost in confidence helps me to reach my goals. I was so nervous at first and wanted to do only text but I tried a voice call and she was so kind and accepting that I felt super comfortable and now I look forward to speaking to her on the phone! I have always dreaded phone calls so I feel like even in this way she is helping me have a better relationship with speaking to someone through voice. She has made my first ever therapy experience so impactful from day 1 and I couldn't be more thankful. 100/10
