Matthew was the perfect Therapist to match me to, that process definitely works well. It was a huge relief to talk with him since day 1, and we covered a lot! During my relationship crisis, Matthew is always warm and helped me navigate the issue in a better perspective. He is knowledgable and very experienced. I first spoke to Matthew when I was upset and confused. I’d never really tried counselling before. But felt I needed to do something and to talk to someone outside of my circle and life, as a bit of self care and so as not to lean on or upset those around me. I wasn’t sure counselling would be for me. But it was amazing how saying it out loud, some support and insightful questioning quickly made me feel better and find some perspective. I was surprised, how quickly Matthew paved the way for me to be open and honest, as I usually keep my own counsel. The particular challenge I was facing feels largely at peace now, but I am continuing with Matthew as I believe continuing the conversation may positively influence other parts of my life, my behaviour, productivity and happiness.
