I always look forward to my sessions with Jennifer! She's very easy to talk to, and encouraging when it comes to my goals. She's great at not only helping me identify things like unhelpful thought patterns, but also putting real world steps into action to try to get where I want to be! She gives me that gentle nudge I need to get started on things, and when I've had issues between sessions, she's great at sending helpful messages in reply to my occasional vent. She's an incredible support system!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with the state of Indiana and am also a certified life coach. I have almost 30 years of clinical experience working with all ages and their families in a wide variety of areas within the mental health field. This includes depression, anxiety, stress management, communication skills, abuse recovery, grief and many others. Practice locations have included both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as a private practice. In my work with clients, it is my intention to help you find that balance between needing insight into past experiences and current thinking and behavior patterns that influence those experiences, while also empowering you to move beyond them into a sense of healing and purpose. I also emphasize a continuous connection between mind, body and spirit. Each of these aspects of ourselves influences the other and learning how to nurture each of those parts of ourselves can go a long way toward helping someone feel whole again. As we work together, it is very important to me that a client experiences a sense of safety and acceptance for who they are and where they are in their lives. I am especially dedicated to embracing diversity and inclusion. These concerns are not solely from clinical experience but also from personal experience as a woman with a lifelong disability and extensive experience with adapting to life changes as necessary in order to have a fulfilling life. It is very important to me to come to you from a place of authenticity. I incorporate many therapeutic approaches depending on individual needs. I look forward to working with you and am honored by your trust.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She was very helpful at helping me come up with different ways to manage my stress that I did not think of. She is very kind and good at what she does.
Jennifer's years of expertise helps me better understand myself without making me feel like I am just like everyone else. She listens and shares my inner most thoughts and feelings and helps me make sense of them even if there's not much to make sense of. I was ready for the change, and she was there waiting to help me. I am still working with her and look forward to my growth with her as my person.
Ms. Jennifer has been a big help to me. I really appreciate how she listens and shows empathy.
Very good experience so far
Jennifer provides a safe space for me to process and integrate the experiences in my life that I need help with understanding and making decisions on. I would say that I am a very spiritually led person and Jennifer speaks in a language and listens in a way that allows me to feel heard and seen.
Jennifer is very understanding and has great communication with me. And I’m looking forward to having more sessions.
She listens to my concerns and is teaching me how to notice and deal with my triggers
Super knowledgeable and empathetic. I felt listened to and she always had good ideas for me to try.
I never have anything negative to say. She tells me straight what needs to be said even if I don't agree with it but amazing work at the same time.
I have only met with Jennifer once but she is very attentive and empathetic.
Jennifer provided me with some coping strategies for anxiety that completely changed my life! I worked with her for a few months and am in such a better place now. She is very knowledgeable about mental health and has helped me with several different issues. After every session I always felt encouraged and excited to apply the new coping strategies I learned!
I adore her and her help!
Good listener and helps with giving angles to perspectives.
Jennifer is very real and gives practical steps to work on becoming who you want to be. She has a very likeable personality and approaches my care with conviction that I can achieve my goals.
It’s been a joy to learn and grow in emotional intelligence under Jennifer’s guidance. She is mindful in her questions, helping me stay curious with my thoughts and feelings. Jennifer has helped me walk through a lot of recent changes and difficulties in my life, and I am so grateful to have been matched with her!
Jennifer is amazing. She is kind understanding and outright real and down to earth. I have been going through a lot in my life and have always hated therapy. She doesn't make me want to hate it.
I have grown and could see my improvement since talking with her.
Jennifer is a kind, safe, empathetic person to process life with. She listens and genuinely cares, offering great insights.
I’ve only had 2 sessions so far but she is very generous with sincere interest, words of affirmation and a gentle rapport in our talks. I look forward to our sessions and feel her support and counseling is making a difference.
I've had two sessions with Jennifer. She has done a great job of helping me sort through feelings and situations without judgement. She has been very helpful and has recommended books and podcasts that have been helpful as well.
I stated meeting with Jennifer when I was going through an extremely difficult time with my daughter; Jennifer was a lifeline. I am grateful for her expertise which gave me the coping tools that I needed. I highly recommend her.
She is wonderful! Very caring! I'm so grateful to her!
Jennifer is thoughtful and compassionate. I always enjoy our conversations even if the topics being discussed can be difficult, she makes me feel heard and understood.
After a couple of sessions and getting to know each other, Jennifer has really helped me process and overcome a couple of things that I've been holding tightly too that were causing me unnecessary stress and anxiety!
Jennifer helped me promptly with a worsening of my anxiety and gave me an actionable plan and coping skills to help get me on the right track. She was very open and easy to speak with and I her my highest recommendation.
Jennifer is absolutely amazing. Being in the medical field myself, I had really been skeptical of reaching out for help because I thought I could figure it out myself and I’m supposed to be the one helping others! Jennifer is honest and real with me and I couldn’t be more thankful for her.
Jen is the best therapist I have ever had. I was recommended this service by my boss to help cope with an agoraphobic partner, school, and work. She has helped more than I could ever say. She takes all of the jumble in my head and lays it out on a table to show me why I am feeling the way I am and where things can be altered in order for me to feel happier and more fulfilled.
I’ve been working with Jennifer for several weeks now after having a series of family and relationship issues that led to a crisis and multiple suicide attempts. Jennifer quickly became a rock in my life and talked me through my emotions and the difficulties of my situation. She is kind, empathetic, and very knowledgeable about abuse, trauma, and relationship issues. She has never made me feel like I was overreacting, unimportant or spoke to me condescendingly. She makes me feel like she cares for me on a personal level and as if I’m her only client. I HIGHLY recommend her.
I was nervous to try therapy for the first time, Jennifer made me feel safe and listened with compassion and grace coming along side me to support and encourage me through my grief and life journey.
