I am a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana and Florida with more than 2 decades of experience treating and supporting youth, adults and families. In my work I have helped individuals and families identify and address the issues that are causing them distress. These range from depression and anxiety to physical and sexual abuse. I have worked with those struggling with addiction and have provided support for those who love individuals with addictions.
It is my belief is that it is within a warm, trusting relationship that individuals are most likely to be able to understand and develop a plan for changing their lives. She has helped me through many unique situations like moving across the country (during a pandemic), applying for a new job, family nonsense, and most importantly how to be easier on myself. I have always struggled with understanding the emotions im feeling and she has helped me be more aware of what I'm feeling and how to approach those feelings now that I do recognize them.
