Tiffany has been amazing at redirecting my negative thoughts and creating better self love habits. The cognitive behavior app she recommended is fabulous and I’ve passed it on to others. Tiffany is intuitive and compassionate in her therapy and has helped me tremendously. Thank you

I don’t know how long this review can be, but it’s probably not enough space to talk about how amazing Tiffany is. I joined Better Help cause I was struggling with “uncontrollable anxiety.” And it was kinda morphing into anxiety attacks and binge eating/purging episodes. Better Help matched me with Tiffany and she has been SUPER dedicated to helping me through it all ever since. She has so many lovely qualities, but I appreciate her frankness, good humour, and professionalism the most. If you’re goal-oriented and like to tackle small, manageable goals week-by-week to work your way towards a larger goal, Tiffany would be a perfect fit! To reach my personal goal of decreasing my anxiety, Tiffany gave me the tools to recognize my anxious thoughts and she also showed me how to deal with the anxiety in a healthy and productive way. Some of those tools were as simple as doing 1 minute breathing exercise 3 times a day! I tried using the tools she showed me and it eventually helped me lower my anxiety and build up greater resiliency against low moods/anxiety attacks/bingeing episodes, which has done wonders for my confidence overall. And with this renewed energy, I built up the courage to try and apply for jobs again. (I lost my last job due to a COVID layoff). And GOOD NEWS, I’ll be starting my new job in a week! Also, for other BIPOC folk, you’d be happy knowing that as a brown woman, I found a lot of safe & understanding space with Tiffany to talk about cultural issues and living with/being raised by immigrant families. I’ve been struggling with my anxiety for YEARS, so it’s a bit of an understatement to say that Tiffany is a godsend. These are tough times, and everyone deserves the quality of care that good therapists like Tiffany offer. To anyone reading this, I hope you can get the care you need and enjoy a better quality of life, as you deserve!

My name is Tiffany Irving, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California and Nevada. I earned my undergraduate degree from Bethany University where I participated in leadership and collegiate basketball. My Graduate degree was obtained from Santa Clara University in 2013 with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology.
Taking a person centered approach I am passionate about helping others find safe places to go with their pain and discover more about who they are and their unique journey with a nonjudgemental stance. In this current health crisis I meet each client where they are. Helping those in need cope with anxiety, depression, and stress currently impacting our communities. I strive to facilitate growth in those who want progress and are willing to put in the work. Staying focused on honesty as the best policy in a therapeutic relationship, we will work together to improve coping and move towards a fuller and more balanced life.
I have many interests such as traveling, exercising, meeting new people, cooking and I am quite the foodie. I enjoy creative things such as photography, painting, art expression, and music.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
