Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Leigh is a fantastic therapist who puts so much effort into her work and it shows. I chronic health issues and she took the initiative to look up my conditions to lessen my burden of explaining. She deftly handles conversations on intersectional issues and is also warm, personable, considerate and calming during sessions. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I can not say enough amazing things about Leigh. She is kind and warm and listens. You immediately feel comfortable with her and that comfort only grows as your time with her continues. I shared everything with her. I went into therapy thinking that I was a mess and needed a lot of help, but she made me feel validated and that gave me the courage to stand up and love myself first. I’m looking forward to my future for the first time in my life.
