In addition to supporting clients through BetterHelp, Callie (she/her) works as a counselor at a small university in Wisconsin. Prior to working in a college setting, she spent 3 years working in the nationally recognized young adult depression recovery program at Rogers Behavioral Health. Callie received her MA in clinical mental health counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and enjoys working with individuals to explore values, goals, and how to pursue a life worth living. Callie identifies as a Queer affirming, sex and kink positive, sex worker allied, and Health at Every Size counselor. Callie has trained as an unbiased pregnancy options counselor and is available to support clients with exploring all options (including abortion, adoption, and parenting) as well as judgment free post-abortion support. Callie is an experienced sex educator and can guide clients through self-exploration and reflection to cope with a wide range of issues related to sex and sexuality. Callie is also currently working toward an additional masters degree in adult education and is passionate about supporting individuals with ADHD and executive functioning impairments.
