Carri is a great listener and is really sharp, kind, and funny. I have a lot of "man issues" with asking for help or getting to the emotional components of my challenges. She has good ways to get into that and real tools to help!

More about Carri

  • LMHC, LPC

I am a thoughtful counselor with best practices at the heart of all my patient encounters. I have over a decade of experience working with groups and individuals who present with a variety of issues, including trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems.

I graduated from Pacific University with a Master of Arts in counseling psychology as well as from The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

I utilize evidence base practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Informed Therapies. I use mindfulness techniques as a supplemental practice for interested patients as well.

I am an easy listener who is interested in getting to know each patient and learn what their personal goals are and how I might help them. My therapeutic approach is human centered and unconditionally positive.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
