I have only had 2 sessions with Michelle and she so easily connected situations in my life that I’ve never noticed before. I am already seeing a difference by just being more educated with my thoughts and feelings. I am excited to further continue my sessions with Michelle.

I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology from Marist College in 2001. I’ve been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York for over 20 years. I’ve worked with a broad range of individuals in both community and clinical settings. You will find that I am compassionate, authentic and easy to talk to. What I love about what I do is the difference I get to make with people. Over the years I’ve developed my style of practice to be transformative for my clients. I’m proud to say that my clients don’t usually see me for very long. That’s because I am masterful at getting quickly to what is stopping them in life and having them transform that area of life for themselves in a short amount of time.
I provide dynamic, solution-focused counseling through guided conversations. This is coaching vs. traditional therapy. The structure of each session is tailored to my client’s individual needs and areas of focus but generally follow a basic structure to cover key points. These include identifying your primary concern(s), generating a clear picture of what you want to accomplish and teaching you practical tools for accessing your power in areas where you’ve experienced a loss of power. My job as your coach is to have you win. I look forward to hearing from you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
