It is a pleasure to introduce myself as Jasmine! I'm a practicing License Clinical Social Worker, licensed in both North Carolina & Georgia. I earned a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Elizabeth City State University and received my MSW from Georgia State University. I have seven years of counseling experience, have been fortunate enough to work in a multitude of settings, and acquire a diversified skill-set. I currently specialize in helping individuals to cope with depression, anxiety, anger/stress management, low self esteem & lack of self confidence, couple related issues, family conflict, and career guidance. My counseling style combines Cognitive Behavior, Psycho-dynamic, and Psycho-analytic therapy. There is no greater joy (for me) than helping individuals to overcome barriers that impede healthy emotional well-being. I believe that we all are the writers of our story and the task of life is to own the "Pen" that writes the story. It is important that my clients are provided a safe space, free of judgement, and given an environment to express themselves. It is important for me as therapist to create an emotional environment where change and healing is possible.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
