Hi, I am Elizabeth, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (#PSI5343) with the State of Tennessee (#7028) and with the State of Indiana (#34008879A). I have 10 years experience in social work and 8 years as a psychotherapist. I work with adults & adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, chronic pain, substance use, and trauma recovery, including but not limited to: childhood abuse and neglect, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

My therapy style is client-centered and attachment-based, integrating therapeutic approaches that are individualized. I value cultural humility, understanding power imbalances in systems and relationships. I have certificate in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and experience working with pregnancy/postpartum and adoption/attachment issues. I am certified in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), trained in Brainspotting, EMDR (Eye Movement Reprocessing Desensitization) , EFT, (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention). I am an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, National Association of Social Workers, the National Association of Perinatal Social Workers, and Postpartum Support International.

The journey of healing is the bravest path to walk; with safety, dignity, & courage you’ll be empowered in this most sacred work. We’ll explore wounds that may impact your view of self & how you relate to others. We’ll collaborate to identify needs, set goals, & implement strategies that will lead to greater self-compassion, deeper connectedness and consciousness, and healthy relationships.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
