Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jacqueline is a lovely person and very nice to talk to. However as a counsellor at times I felt she was too harsh and judgmental. Which is not helpful for a person with low self esteem like me. I did learn a lot too which was great of course. It’s a shame she was not very responsive to messages, and often late for sessions. But she helped me with some fears and anxieties, which was good.

Jacqueline is a solid candidate for counselor of the year. She is very interested and concerned about my situation. She exhibits empathy and she has a genuine understanding of my psychological disposition . I am confident that who ever she is treating...they will disseminate about the same valuation that I have! Thank you. Sincerely, R .K.

It is immediately evident that Jacqueline carries a wealth of experience and is able to effectively communicate in a way that is concise, productive and very respectful. My favourite quality about her and her methods is that she is not afraid to drop the professional and delicate persona of a traditional therapist and use language and dialect that is impactful and meaningful.

Reviewed February 2021

Jackie is amazing! She’s very quick at reading people, and she takes me seriously and trusts my self-assessments. She hits the perfect balance of not judging or telling me what to do, but also telling me hard truths when I need to hear them. It’s clear that she has a diversity of experience, and she has helped me understand other people in my life who also struggle with mental illnesses that are different than mine. I really feel like I have grown individually and in my relationship while working with Jackie, and I’m so grateful! She’s also fun and relatable and someone I would want to hang out with outside therapy.

I spent almost two months going to therapy and feeling like I was just going to talk to a friend. I knew something was wrong but I couldn’t explain what or identify the issues. I felt as if I was just doomed to be “different” from other ppl and have different struggles. The very first meeting I had with Jacqueline, she was immediately able to help me identify what I was dealing with and shed light on the dark cloud that has followed me everywhere my entire life. Very professional! Spot on with recommendation!
