Reviewed August 2024

Gail Albers, from the start, has been so helpful. She has aided my journey healing from trauma with compassion and knowledge that is fitting my needs incredibly well. I look forward to seeing and hearing her each time. I’ve rated her “5 stars” , the tops each time I’ve filled out a survey. I’m getting healthy based on my inner abilities as well as her kindness and professionalism. I’d like to mention that I feel she’s the best therapist I’ve encountered in my 77 years. And, I’ve seen a few!

I am a licensed counselor with over 25 years experience in providing therapy. My areas of knowledge include grief and trauma therapy, treatment for anxiety and depression, and issues for LGBTQ individuals. I believe in the life transforming power of mindfulness and also employ dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic process, and Rogerian theory which focuses on empathy and unconditional positive regard from the therapist to the client. My focus as a therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate space in which a person can gain self knowledge, self compassion and kindness. Each person is unique and my goal is to provide individualized treatment and support to each person I work with. I welcome the opportunity and the privilege of providing guidance and support to each person on their journey of self discovery and healing.
