Patrick has been a huge support in my mental health journey and he has provided me additional tools and insight that I might otherwise never had considered. He challenges me to think outside my comfort zone which at times is needed to grow. He is compassionate and always meets me where I am the day of session so I never feel pressured or rushed or wrong which I have in the past with other therapist. He is genuine and he brings himself to session and not just the textbook answer. I look forward to growing as we continue together on working on my mental health goals.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Patrick is very patient and calm . He seems knowledgeable and eager to help me get to the root of my problems with a healthy balance of venting and discussing self help tools.
Patrick is a wealth of knowledge and doesn't beat around the bush. His approach has kept me focused on my goals and not get side tracked. He is amazing and I am thankful that BetterHelp connected us as he has allowed me to learn and work on myself in ways others have not been able to.
I signed up for Better Help with very few expectations, especially because I was being assigned a "random" therapist. I could not have been matched any better. Each week, I am amazed by the level of skill and empathy shown to me. He is exceptionally talented at helping me help myself, recognize my strengths, and change my mindset and behaviors. He is flexible, non-judgmental, insightful, patient, and personable. I have gone to therapy before, both in-person and online, and have never had the level of successful growth I've found under Patrick Elzey. While I still have a long way to go, I finally feel change is possible and even inevitable, thanks to him. I'm thankful each day that I was matched with this therapist and am also thankful that Better Help has provided such a great platform for therapy.
