Hi. My name is Jenna Canterbury and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Memphis. I have been working in the mental health field for over a decade and have experience providing services to children and adults. I provide psychotherapy that is influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy approaches. Sessions will be tailored to fit each client's needs.

I will provide an open and completely non-judgmental space for you to process any of the things you are dealing with in life. I passionately believe that mental health services should be readily available and that there should be no negative stigmas. I’m currently offering unconventional hours to allow people with busy daytime schedules to have more access to services. I applaud you for moving forward in this journey. Please let me know how I can help.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
