I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University. I have been working in the field since 2015.

I previously worked at Christian Counseling Associates as a licensed professional counselor. I saw clients (Christian and non-Christian) dealing with a range of mental health, addiction, faith-based, and life concerns.

At the Washington City Mission, I also previously worked as a counselor and "house manager" wherein I counseled and aided the men and women of the newest program I helped design. I saw clients who dealt with a range of concerns, including mental health, addiction, life-adjustment, and faith-based concerns. I also taught classes and aided them in finding jobs and housing, including HUD and Section 8 locations.

I treat adolescents and adult patients with a variety of concerns such as mood

disorders, spiritual/faith-based issues, interpersonal problems, attention/concentration problems, history of trauma/abuse, and self-esteem. Each client receives person and heart-centered therapy

using several individualized, multi-modal techniques, including mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance - commitment, gestalt, somatic, and faith-based approaches unique to the individual.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
