Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I like that therapy with Lindsay is like sitting down with a good friend over a cup of coffee and having a chat. She listens, asks questions, and then helps me go back through all of it, pointing out important things. It's wonderful to have someone to even just bounce my feelings off of, especially when they are confusing. I appreciate her! :)

I loved BetterHelp and I know that if I needed help again I would definitely come back!

Lindsay has really helped me walk through some self discovery in the past few weeks. I rated her an eight out of 10 as to whether or not I would recommend her because I realize not every counselor fits every person so I braided her based on the fact that I think she’s highly strong but I don’t know if she would fit everybody that would need assistance. But for me she’s 10 out of 10.
