Emily is the best therapist I could have asked for, and has massively exceeded my expectations since day one. She is an endlessly reassuring and fun presence I can always rely on, and a brilliant sounding board. She helped me through the worst time in my life, and in calmer times helps with day to day anxieties and exploring deeper issues. I love working with her.

One of my greatest pleasures of being a counselor is the honor of witnessing and helping a client along their personal journey to a life worth living. I assist my clients, which include adolescents and adults, to find healthy perceptions of themselves, identify skills, and strengthen their relationships to find peace, hope, and joy.
There is no single approach for every client, and I have been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and client centered techniques.
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Mississippi. I have a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Memphis. I have been practicing as an outpatient therapist in community and private clinic settings since 2013. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin, and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). I have just recently moved to the sunny Southwest - Albuquerque, New Mexico to be exact! So if you're in MN or WI I'm just an hour behind. :)
I look forward to talking with you and helping you on your journey towards the life you want.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I appreciate Emily so much!
Emily is always a pleasure to speak to, a reassuring presence, wise and unfailingly supportive. Working with her is so helpful!
Emily is just the best. She is empathetic, and never tries to push me further than I can go. And she also makes sure I know when I'm not going as far as I really can. That mix of bluntness and empathy is everything I ever wanted in a therapist, and is what I have found here!
I appreciate her so much!
Emily continues to be a viable part of my care. She really goes above and beyond to follow up with me and challenges me to be a better person.
Continually dedicated, kind, insightful and absolutely amazing.

Emily has gone above and beyond since day 1. Her expertise and compassion combined area forced to be reckoned with (in a good way, of course!) I was so nervous to begin therapy, and now I can’t imagine my weekly routine without our sessions! Emily has made such a positive impact in my life.

Emily has been a huge help with improving my mental health. I feel very supported. She asks hard questions when they come up, which may sound like a negative, but it's not! It lets me know she's really keyed in to my struggles and priorities. She asks the questions that present themselves through our discussions. Truly appreciate her.

We have only had two sessions so far, but she has made me incredibly comfortable and I feel like I can be open and honest with her. She is great at listening and responding to what I am saying. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
Emily asks great questions and promotes self care.
Emily was really helpful in getting me un-stuck. I struggle with changing relationship issues and was somewhat depressed and felt hopeless. She helped me find my strength and empowered me with some really good tools and experience. She is kind, thoughtful, and a joy to have on my side. I was not her first rodeo :) Mike - Wisconsin

Emily is very understanding and patient. She is very empathetic and offers ways forward when you need or request them. She has been a tremendous support, even just being there and having someone to reassure me I'm not completely insane for feeling the way I do.

I have been to different therapists, but I’ve never ever met someone like Emily. She genuinely cares about all your concerns and helps you in many different ways. I’ve had her for almost a year now, and I feel so comfortable talking to her about literally anything. It’s like talking to a friend who really really gets you and there is no judgement. I don’t know what I would do without her! I love her and I highly recommend her!
I greatly appreciate the support she has been to me. I have been through a rollercoaster of life issues, but I feel stronger and more confident now than when I first started. She is wonderful. Thank you!
Emily Schram is awesome, she listens and offers real world advice and tips to cope, deal with and overcome my anxieties and OCD. I really think she deserves a gold metal for what she does!
Emily is so awesome. She’s understanding and insightful, and totally gets me. She’s also fun and easy to talk to.
Emily is so good at building a rapport, and proving her trustworthiness. In fact, I am hesitant to give her "credit" because she has done such a good job convincing me that I'm the one who deserves credit for the hard work of getting better and healthier. That said, I would not have gotten as far alone, but only with Emily's help. She's amazing!
I really love her. She is so not judgmental, but also calls me out on my BS (in a compassionate way). She’s also young and cool and amazing.
Emily is a credit to the organisation, she has helped me beyond comprehension on numerous occasions

Emily is professional and genuine. I’m not a very open person, but I trust writing about what’s bothering me and being vulnerable to her. Her demeanor is gentle and she encourages you to take your time. If you’re afraid of therapy or have had sessions that left you feeling just okay, please talk to Emily. She’s amazing, really.
