I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 15 years of experience working as a therapist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have worked with clients with a variety of issues including grief and loss, substance use, anxiety, stress, depression and marital relationships. I have twenty years of experience working with adolescents addressing mental health issues, legal, academic challenges and substance use.

My counseling style is genuine and attentive. I am a good listener and meet the client where they are. I do not judge the client or label the clients behavior. My therapeutic approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, rational emotive, solution focused and psycho dynamic counseling. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan specifically to meet your needs.

The decision to ask for help is not easy. I commend you for taking a step in the right direction to increase change in your life. If you are ready I am available to listen and provide the support and encouragement you need.

I look forward to working with you.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I just finished my one month with Mrs. Young. My experience has been excellent. She helps me process my pain in a clear and orderly way. She also shows me how my pain has been causing me to hurt others because hurt people, hurt other people. My journey to healing has been very complicated but my counselor, Mrs. Young, has truly helped ease the difficulty of it. I would recommend her ten times over. Thank You Mrs. Young.

Jacqueline has personal experience in the area of my life that I am exploring and healing through counseling so I really trust her input. She is a focused, non judgmental listener. I feel valued and heard by her. She has suggested some action steps and explained how and why those steps could be helpful in my healing journey. I am choosing to move forward with those suggestions and to trust this process. I would highly recommend Jacqueline ! I consider her to be an intelligent and empathetic counselor

Because I just started earlier this month of December, with no experience of online counseling & I'm 71 years old, I am probably not a 'typical " client. I have found counseling with Jacqueline to be very convenient and easy. I merely send her texts when I have time & a situation or problem is on my mind. She asks me some clear, practical questions or directions about how I'm handling the matter & I respond whenever I find the time. I really am glad there is no pressure; it's calm & gently directive, encouraging but not too demanding.

Jacqueline was very helpful with showing me that I haven't forgiven myself for the things I had done in my past. She helped me understand how my past upbringing affected my decisions both then and now and worked with me to find ways to work through these things going forward. She has been a blessing from Jesus Himself and I'm thankful for her assistance.
