Incredibly professional without being cold or clinical. Warm, friendly, approachable and, above all, supremely knowledgeable and understanding. This being my first time doing therapy, personally, I highly recommend Albert Thrower’s services. 10/10

Albert helped me get through a very difficult time in my life. I had recently experienced two very personal losses, and on top of that was struggling with a substance abuse issue. Albert helped me understand why I was feeling the way I was and provided me healthy mechanisms to improve the way I was feeling and address the issue. He also helped me address my substance abuse problem and identify the cause of them, as well as coping mechanisms that were healthy rather than destructive. I would highly recommend him to any relative, friend, or colleague.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Albert is a counselor with great balance. He genuinely gets to know you by listening carefully and asking thoughtful questions. His professional manner and casual style create a welcoming space to be vulnerable and productive. I appreciate his light-heartedness, his empathy, and his honest support.

Reviewed May 2020

Albert was one of my first therapeutic contacts. Within a few weeks, he told me a couple of very useful things, that only flourished to their true meaning, as I applied them to my own life. He has a habit of gently leading you yourself to look at your own stuff, instead of pointing it out directly. The method of CBT was very convenient and gave me tools to check out my own deceptive behaviors in an ongoing process.

Reviewed January 2019

Albert is very accommodating, always punctual, and focused on directly supporting the concerns I've expressed. He also has made useful suggestions where suitable.

Reviewed December 2018

Albert is amazing. He is extremely kind, non-judgemental and caring. He has a great manner and has a great gift in listening and being able to respond in a way that is supportive. I already feel much better in myself from his counselling.
