Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very greatfull for her. Although we only did a few sessions, I was seeing other professionals and we were able to have the conversations that need to be had to move me forward.

Melanie Mullin’s is extremely professional, caring and most importantly, attentive. I haven’t been using this app for a long time, but in the last few weeks that I have been, my counselor Melanie has shown me that she IS listening to what I have to say. I have been in therapy multiple times in my life and she is one of the only therapists that I can say is actually hearing what I have to say. I always felt like I was being judged instead of being listened to, but not with Melanie! I highly recommend this app to anyone seeking to improve their mental health or even if they’re just looking for someone to talk to that will actually hear them out. And for anyone that does decide to try and improve their mental health by using this app, I HIGHLY recommend Melanie Mullins. She is an excellent counselor.

Melanie is extremely down to earth and objective. She really takes the time to see things from your point of view and help you as many ways as she can. She also touches base with you when she hasn’t heard from you in a bit and is used to hearing from you daily. She’s very understanding, but also straightforward in an extremely respectful manner. I’ve never had someone who I felt really took the time to get to understand me and my needs as much as her. She’s human and treats you as another human instead of just a patient.
