I am a person-centered therapist who believes in the potential in each individual. I have worked with individuals from highly varied backgrounds and work to see the potential for growth in each person. I have experience teaching, training, and providing therapy for individuals of all ages. I help largely through helping people find their motivation, self-worth, and potential in order to solve issues ranging from past traumas to current dilemmas.
Through my career to this point I have been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Mediation, Thinking for Change, and Clinical Hypnosis. In session I also use techniques ranging from CBT, Adlerian psychology, and more. My experience has often involved individuals struggling with severe mental illness, substance use/alcohol use disorders, trauma, PTSD, and domestic violence. I have also done work with individuals working on parenting skills for typically developing children as well as those with developmental/intellectual delays.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Rachel rocks! She has good suggestions and listens to what I'm saying.
Love my therapist!
She really listened to me and helped me through a lot of traumas that I should never have had. She's helping me understand what a happy life looks like for me.
I have been working with Rachel for a very short while now and I am amazed by her abilities to empathize and really “see” me. She is extremely validating and knowledgeable about what works in terms of offering guidance. I would highly recommend her!!
Very nice woman. Listens very well, makes good suggestions and is very nice.
During the 2+ years that I have worked with Rachel I have found her to be honest, professional, humble, and a woman of integrity. Rachel has invested her energy in getting to know me and how I see my life, without burdening me or herself with preconceived notions due to my diagnosis or having unrealistic expectations of me or her own abilities. I'm learning how to take these qualities into my own work with other people. Rachel points out, acknowledges, and celebrates my victories with me. She also gently, insightfully and with wisdom points out my lack of understanding then clarifies/instructs me. Rachel also models mature relationships, how to apologize in a meaningful manner, walking the walk in showing me that I am respected and genuinely valued for who I am and who I am not - she doesn't just talk the talk. Rachel shares appropriately from and about her own life when it would be/is helpful to/for me. I do not give trust or respect easily. Rachel has shown me more than once during the past almost 2 1/2 years that I am safe and protected in offering these gifts of myself to her. Rachel takes good care of herself and it shows. Her effectiveness in guiding me in a short period of time to a place of peace and acceptance of all I am and was created to be is a lasting and profound legacy in my life. Thank you, Rachel.
She is fantastic and a great listener
Rachel has been extremely helpful in learning to navigate the recent loss of my mom and in dealing with difficult family members. I appreciate that she doesn't just agree with me, or tell me what I want to hear. She remains neutral and helps me to see things from another point of view. She's very patient with me and is very kind. I appreciate meeting with her each week. She has given me tools to move forward
I have been working with Rachel for nearly two years now and I have made more progress in that time than in the previous 50+ years of traditional insurance therapy. We have not always been on the same page with each other but I have learned much through the process of working out the misunderstandings and mistakes on both sides. I am very possibly not always the easiest client to work with, but Rachel has persevered without ever causing me to feel like I am to be blamed for anything that is not truly my responsibility. She helps me to identify what that responsibility really is vs what I have been told throughout my life. Rachel is not perfect or my “angel” or best friend (words that others have used to describe a therapist here which make me cringe), but she IS effective in the long run which is so much more important and valuable to me.
My therapist helps me so I can be the best version of myself. She gives me the tools to succeed in daily tasks. She guides in making healthier mental choices for myself.
Rachel is truly one of the most incredible people I've ever met. I went through plenty of therapy and she has made me feel so comfortable being able to divulge information that I dont tell anyone. She is simply amazing and very blessed at her job.
Rachel is great and does a good job of getting to the bottom off issues. She is also very observant and can notice things in our expression that we don't even know is there.
The situation in Canada related to the pandemic has had me feeling anxious and isolated. Talking to Rachel helped me to feel more relaxed and in control of my life. I think Rachel is a wonderful therapist. She listens, offers great advice, is kind and supportive.
I think I can safely say that I don't know what I would have done without her.
My Counsellor Rachel, l have only known for two weeks but she is an outstanding woman of substance and integrity. A woman not afraid to dig deep to get to the root of the problem. I feel l have been heard for the first time.
Rachel provides good, professional support. I appreciate her!
Rachel has become a friend to me. I loo forward to her input and guidance while I navigate life. She is honest, but so sweet and caring. I look forward to our time together.
Rachel is a great counselor, and I always look forward to what we will talk about. She gives me good counsel to think about, and apply to my life.
Very sincere, I like her advise of how to change my thought processes in a more healthy way.
Rachel is patient, understanding, and consistent with following up/checking up on me. She creates a safe space while also knowing how to guide towards a productive end. I would highly recommend her.
Rachel Tiede is a great councilor. She understands what I need to work on myself and I feel like she is really helpful. She works with me finding a time that works for my schedule to have our sessions.
Me and Rachel have not been connected long, but she has always been encouraging. She asked questions to get to know you further and responds in a timely manner. I have enjoyed my connection so far
Rachel is truly an excellent counsellor. She acknowledges and respects how I’m feeling and gives me helpful strategies with a lot of care and kindness! God bless her!
I like Rachel’s responses back to me that she understand what I’m telling her. She gives me things to think about and has responded promptly. Although she hasn’t suggested any other means for our counseling, I prefer the way we’ve been doing through emails.
Rachel has only worked with me a month and I am grateful for her!!!
Rachel is amazing and makes me feel incredibly at ease throughout the week, whilst also working on ways to better myself. She always checks up on me to make sure I'm doing well and that we make progress. it almost feels like I'm talking to one of my own family members.
I appreciate Rachel taking time to try to help me with the things in my life I need to work on - my anger issues especially.
In the short time I have been using Faithful Counseling, it has become a comfort during difficult times. Knowing I can send a message and feel supported by my counselor is so uplifting. Rachel is a great support!
Great listener and has helpful advice.
Rachel is a delightful counselor. She is very kind, thoughtful, and attentive, and she has been very helpful in assisting me with the issues that I've been having. Her insights have been incredibly useful to me, and I've very grateful and lucky to have been able to work with her. I would recommend her to anyone struggling with the mental health problems she routinely deals with.
Rachel has been an extremely helpful counsellor, with strong empathy, patience, and insight. She always responds promptly and has offered some good insights into my problems. She has been a real joy to work with, and I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.
Rachel has been very helpful with walking alongside me and helping me navigate a difficult situation. She exhibits sincere empathy and asks engaging and applicable questions. Lastly , Rachel is consistent in responding and sending emails. I would recommend Rachel to my closest of friends.
Excellent therapist, allows me to go round and round on issues and pulls me back to center. Empathizes with me on stressors and hot button issues. Give me assignments to work on and create new thoughts.
She is one of the best things that happened in my life.
Rachel is a great counselor. She let's you explain your concerns and doesn't tell you what to do, rather suggests how you might go about it. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Rachel has provided great support at a time when I felt no one really understood what I was going through. She has really helped me focus on the positive and given me more confidence when it comes to expressing my feelings. Very grateful indeed.
Rachel has been great and very non-judgemental! It has been refreshing to get new insight.
She responds almost everyday and seems really interested in helping me.
Rachel is compassionate and responsive. I appreciate that she doesn't tell me what to do as much as suggests things and asks how that feels for me.
Having Rachel hold a safe space for me to vent, process, reflect and share has been incredibly healing for me. She's been an incredibly supportive sounding-board and helps me to view things from a different angle. She also helps me to come up with my own insights and conclusions, while remaining encouraging and attentive. I've been very blessed to have been linked with her, and look forward to many more discussions, realizations and moments of sharing.
I am incredibly thankful for Rachel Tiede's counseling. She replies and offers thoughts and suggestions to different things I am working on/talking about. I feel listened to and understood. I am incredibly glad I found Faithful Counseling.
Rachel asks great questions and has helpful solutions.
I have been working with Rachel for almost 19 months and during this time I have heard from different people who don't know each other how much I have blossomed. I believe that the healthy, validating, and mutually respectful relationship Rachel has helped me to build with her has been a decisive factor in this transformation. I am doing the work through online therapy that I was unable to do with traditional "insurance therapy" because here with Rachel I have the assurance of at least one contact per most days. Part of the trauma in my life was that I felt "invisible." I didn't trust that someone who would only talk with/listen to me for one hour per week really had my best interest in mind. I could not figure out how to make traditional therapy effective for myself even after 50 years of it. I am blessed that COVID indirectly brought me to BH and especially to Rachel.
Great to work with
Rachel knows everything about me and she doesn’t judge me. She has been there for me when I had no one else.
I really feel supported and understood when I talk to her which has really helped me feel more solid when things are shaky She helps me find that solid ground and I am very thankful to have matched with her.
She’s been extremely helpful in helping me get an understanding on why I’m still feeling how I’m feeling and just listens to me and makes me feel listened to.
Rachel is caring, kind and goal-oriented! She suggests really great tools and resources that help tremendously!
She is wonderful and amazing. Has helped me in many ways.
Great person very helpful
Rachel has been amazing and so very helpful. She always has sound advice and listens to my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone that may be seeking help.
Rachel has a way of making me look at situations from different perspectives. Sometimes when I feel so alone and like no one cares or wants to understand me she is there to help guide me through some difficult times.
Great to talk to, like speaking with a friend. Her advice is exactly what I need at the time.
Rachel has helped me a lot! And she's really insightful
It's way too hard to not talk about all your problems when you're chatting with such a sweetheart, and I mean that in the best possible way. For the first time in several years I feel like I have a space where I'm not judged, a problem, and whatever trouble I cause is welcomed. She is super understanding, lovely, and I always look forward to chatting with her.
Rachel was very understanding and supportive. She really helped me grow in our short time together!
Thank you for listening to and hearing me, respecting and responding to my needs, understanding and supporting my efforts, encouraging and helping me to find hope again
I have been with Rachel for 3 years now and she has made a huge difference in my life. She has supported and has been helping me reach my goals by sharing tools I can use that pertain to everyday life.
she is great
Rachel is a great therapist. She's kind, considerate, and truly a great listener. She clearly has a lot of experience, because she always manages to know what you're trying to say even if you're struggling to figure out how to say it. It's rare to find a therapist who knows how to gracefully manage the transition from treating an acute emotional trauma to a new phase of rebuilding. Rachel knew exactly when I needed healing and when I was ready for a challenge. This is such an important skill for a therapist to have when helping someone who is struggling with the effects of anxiety and depression.
I have had only positive interactions with Rachel. It is so reassuring that your able to reach out and get feedback the very same day. It helps with your mental well being to know someone is just a text, call, and/or email away.
Rachel has been a lifesaver! She helps me see things clearly and helps me keep the focus on what is important.
I always come away from sessions feeling mentally organised emotionally secure.
I have been working with Rachel for 7 months. I came into therapy with her already being agonizingly distrustful of people in general and health/assistance providers in particular due to some grossly inappropriate and at least one criminal relationship. She has earned my trust and respect by her consistency, gentleness, keeping her promise of how often she would be in contact with me, apologizing in a way that was meaningful to me when she made a mistake, being open about her experience with and knowledge of (or lack thereof) some of the concerns in my life, responding in a timely/appropriate/understandable manner to me when I ask for clarification - I have learned that this asking is a critical thing to do in a healthy relationship which is what I believe I have with Rachel, her openness/willingness to learn new skills/new ways of doing things and to not put a client in a "box" according to their psychological diagnosis, her clearly stated receptivity to hearing about when she has made a mistake in judgment, etc. All of these qualities give her credibility in my way of thinking/relating to people and the world. I highly recommend her for anyone who struggles with trust, shame, hopelessness, abandonment, neglect, abuse, feeling connected/visible to and heard by other people. In a lifetime of being in therapy (MANY years) I have only met one other provider who approaches the impact Rachel has had on my life... I am PROFOUNDLY grateful and blessed to have found Rachel. I have made more progress in the past 7 months than in the previously mentioned numerous YEARS.
Rachel listens so well and provides such helpful feedback. I also appreciate that she is willing to use some of her life experience to not only build a connection with me, but to also help contextualize troubling situations and help me see things from other perspectives. She challenges me to see beyond just myself in order to help me find the best path forward. All in all, she is a wonderful and tremendous help to me. :)
Rachel is absolutely wonderful. She listens with intent and lets me talk through my issues which has turned into my way of processing. She provides guidance to let me discover how I can overcome and has also reinforced that I am not alone. I would recommend Rachel to anyone struggling with mental health.
Rachel gets me. She keeps me on track with my goals, she makes me dig deep into why the issue is.
I trust Rachel completely and have learned so much about myself through our sessions together. With her help, I have examined my own emotional and behavioral patterns and am recognizing what I want to change, how I got here in the first place, and also ways to adjust. I am so thankful for her and hope that I will (soon) be able to process and grow on my own.
She listens and has a sense of humour. I feel valid in myself after sessions.
So glad to have found Ms. Tiede on better help. I am grateful for her help.
Excellent provider. Listens well and provides feedback and guidance. Really understands my concerns and what I am trying to gain from therapy.
She is amazing and understands my needs and makes recommendations to get me on track.
Love her
She has been wonderful to work with.
I searched numerous times for a true LMFT… Until I matched with Rachel who is a highly skilled client centered therapist that always provided me with space and comfort so that I can empower myself with self love, grow as a parent, and advocate for my clients as well. As a LMFT myself, I believe in the power of therapy and with Rachel I also believe that if you are looking for warmth and compassion she is truly the best! Happy healing!!
I feel very comfortable with Rachel and she helps me put things into prospective.
I am finding confirmation daily through my work with Rachel T that 1) she is worthy of my trust and respect (I do not give either of them easily), and 2) this system at BetterHelp.com is much more effective and efficient for me than traditional psychotherapy as I have experienced it.
Rachel has been an amazing therapist for me for the past several months. I have found so much more confidence and freedom after talking with her. She's very patient, and gracious, and has taught me how to apply that to myself. I would recommend Rachel Tiede to anyone!
Rachel has been one of the most caring, supportive, and encouraging therapists I have ever worked with. She is responsive, thoughtful, and is not afraid to ask tough questions to help you find the root of your problems. She has helped me work through my anxiety, panic disorder, and self-destructive behaviors to help me feel stable and secure in my relationships, career, and life. Should I need therapy again in the future, I will be coming straight to Rachel and have no hesitation with recommending her to anyone.
I have been working with Rachel for about two weeks and am already deeply impressed (not an easy thing with me). I struggle mightily with trust, shame and trying to feel connected to people - Rachel seems to understand this on a deep level and responds in timely/appropriate ways. She has kept her promise regarding how often she would respond to my written messages and has encouraged me to write as often as I need to (I am a writer anyway, so this is very helpful for me). Rachel even made the effort to ensure a response to a message she received prior to a session on the day we had a meeting scheduled. It is still too early for me to say I trust her - I am moving toward that with hope and expectation because she has given me reasons for that hope.
I finally feel that I am healing!!!
Rachel is a kind and understanding therapist. She offers many great suggestions and asks really thought provoking questions that help to better understand how I might begin to heal my past. She is great!!
To be honest I don’t know what I would have done without her.
Very professional and responds ina timely manner. She supports all of my therapy needs.
So far I’ve really been enjoying my time with Rachel Tiede. She’s suggested lots of great material, and I’m really encouraged to see where things are going. I’d definitely recommend her to others.
Rachel is perceptive, understanding, and compassionate. A wonderful therapist that is skilled at what she does. She goes with you into your pain and helps lead you out the other side.
Rachel has been an incredible force for good in my life. With Rachel's help, I've been able to find my inner strength, tackle my anxiety and fears, and build confidence in myself. She is compassionate and empathetic and provides such amazing practical advice and resources. I couldn't recommend her more!
She is amazing.
Very helpful :)
She is an amazing counselor with the sweetest voice. She is really good at providing an unbiased opinion and allowing you to come up with your own conclusions with leading questions. Rachel is heads down the sweetest and best therapist I have had.
Absolutely wonderful!
I appreciate having Rachel's counseling . She is responsive, constructive and provides good insights or brings me to them in a way that helps.
Rachel is the best counselor I’ve ever had! She responds quickly and it’s clear she puts a lot of care into each message. I never feel judged or like I need to withhold feelings. Definitely would recommend Rachel!
Rachel and I have been working together for a short period of time, but in that time she has been quick to respond and I feel heard.
I wish everyone could get Tiedes advice
Rachel is a great therapist. She’s very attentive, compassionate, and skilled with asking neutral questions geared towards self-reflection. I highly recommend Rachel as a therapist.
Rachel is by far the best counselor I have ever had. I have tried a few different therapists in the past and I did not feel like they supported me like Rachel does. I feel like she is really there for me and I feel like she is on my side. She helps me work through my problems. I am very glad I have her to depend on!
Rachel has been amazing. I really feel listened too, respected but also challenged when I need to be. She's given me great tools and ideas to help me cope and deal with life stressors which has allowed me to gain a lot of my confidence back.
She makes me feel cared for and that I'm a top priority ❤️ I feel more of a genuine connection with her unlike in person therapists have given me over the past 6 years!
Rachel has been wonderful to talk to. As a first time user do therapy, I finally understand why it’s so good to talk through what I would normally process internally.
Rachel is very responsive. She offers a variety of options how to approach situations as well as tools to help you assess various feelings or situations. She is empathetic and doesn’t make me feel judged. She asks good questions and it’s obvious she is knowledgeable about past communications (you never have to repeat a certain issue).
It’s a bit early to say but so far I/we have been very happy with Rachel, her approach and manner. She is a very calming influence and an excellent listener, and makes gentle but highly pertinent suggestions at appropriate moments
Always helpful and has a good sense of humor!
Rachel is quick to respond and always has thoughtful and useful messages whether I’m having trouble with anxiety or in my relationship. Highly recommend her to anyone struggling with anxiety and depression.
Using this service and finding the right counselor has kept me grounded. Being able to communicate with her through a medium that I’m comfortable with and suits my lifestyle also helps a great deal as I’m not always in a private position to be able to speak on the phone. My counselor is very supportive yet insightful and is helping me to reach the better version of myself.
I just want to say that I appreciate your help. Walking into this therapy thing I wasn’t as optimistic. But I can see that talking about my problems and secrets with a complete stranger does help and for once I’m not being dismissed or having to deal with a biased opinion. I can’t thank you enough for just listening and receiving the info being stated and responding with helpful advice or questions that I try not to ask myself. You don’t cross the line at all and I’m happy I got to experience this. Super new to me but I’m hopeful of the growth that I will go through. Thank you!
She has very good insight.
She has been extremely supportive and gently pushes me out of my comfort zone.
Rachel has been absolutely amazing at helping me face many aspects of my past, present and future life. I always found it hard to articulate what I was feeling and understanding why, but Rachel has taken the time to walk me through everything step by step and give me real clarity and understanding. I am feeling so much more connected to my emotions and although it is still an ongoing process, I really feel like I am healing. I want to be a better person and be prepared for a healthy relationship in the future, that is not being held back by past events. Rachel is helping me do that. She talks to you on a real 1-2-1 basis and never makes any judgements.
Rachel is the reason I recommend this app to friends.
I appreciate the way Rachel listens for slight changes in tone or pauses in conversation. She has said “what is that I’m hearing in your voice?” When I was feeling too overwhelmed to share too much. I can tell she is actually listening and thinking through to help me problem solve. I appreciate our weekly chats!
Rachel has helped me though a pretty rough time, and I appreciated having online help.
Rachel is fantastic! I feel so "heard," even through written text. I love the online format!
Rachel is very understanding - there when you need to talk but not overbearing or too intrusive. Rachel validates your feelings, teaches you how to understand your feelings and cope with them.
She has taken the time to listen to me and help me sort through things. She guides me in a more positive direction, but baby steps.
Rachel has been very kind and always sends a quick follow-up if she doesn't hear back from me. It's good knowing that she does want to know what's going on and how I'm doing. She is very understanding as many individuals here who have worked with her have said. It makes opening up about my life's situations easier. Thank you, Rachel!
This process has been very enlightening and I’m learning through Rachel Tiede’s guidance. She listens and responds with genuine concern, and I have never felt judged or inadequate. Even when I am busy and don’t respond to her messages she approaches in a gentle way, always making sure to touch bases with me and bring me back to my sessions for balance
Rachel offers insight and an unbiased viewpoint for the challenges in my life right now.
Very understanding, and super helpful in setting small goals to achieve the big goals. Puts things in perspective that you haven’t looked at before.
Rachel is extremely understanding and great at answering. She doesn’t judge, she just helps.
Rachel is timely in her responses, she's checking in with me frequently, even when I’m not able to respond for a few days and I appreciate that. I feel that the interventions she’s suggested align with my thoughts and feelings and who I am as a person. I am grateful for her unbiased feedback, and she’s easy to talk to.
Rachel is a good listener, doesn’t judge, and she has accommodated my preference for email communication.
Rachel is a great listener, patient and understanding. I feel that my sessions with her have a positive impact on my overall mood and I appreciate the patience she has with my progress.
Once assigned to Rachel through BetterHelp I was a little hesitant to work with a female therapist. I was under the false assumption that a male would be able to better understand the scope of what I was going through. Thankfully, I was persuaded from a review much like this one and I have no regrets. Rachel was a reliable asset in helping me work through my recent break-up, depression, self-esteem and confidence issues, life transition, career change, and even issues associated with sex. She proved my assumption wrong by not only being able to understand my situation but exceeded my expectations in her ability to easily discuss difficult topics and guide me through all these obstacles to build a better me. I Highly Recommend Rachel to anyone who is searching for assistance in a life transition and working through depression or relationship issues. Rachel will help you move forward and supply you with the tools to address difficulties if they arise in the future.
Rachel is awesome....a unicorn
Rachel is incredible
Rachel has been helping me through a trying time. She is helping me to express what I want more clearly and see that perhaps there are other options that I can explore. Even though I keep coming back to my starting point, Rachel is helpful in starting over with me and helping me to pass my last point of progress so I get a little further every time.
Rachel is extremely responsive and asks wonderful questions to try to understand your issues further. I would highly recommend working with Rachel.
Rachel was my 1st and last counsellor at BetterHelp. She was an amazing support to me and helped me traverse through tough times in a foreign country while being Borderline. She is extremely kind, genuine and unbiased. Her approach in developing positivity through affirmations and elimination of negative thoughts has tremendously helped me cope with mood swings and depression.
Rachel has been an invaluable source of support for me for the past 2 months. She’s given me the tools to process my thoughts and feelings. She’s responsive and caring but can be firm when she needs to be. She’s empathetic and understanding of cultural differences and that makes her even more accessible. We have built a great rapport over the last few months and I look forward to working with her as time goes on.
Rachel is awesome! Gently encouraging and very responsive. I prefer to communicate via messages and I love that that is an option. I feel that she totally understands me and is never judgemental. The stress from work impacts my partner less since I've been talking to Rachel - I am managing my stress and insecurity better.
Rachel is great :) She helps me see the bigger picture and focus on what I want to work on in my life. I look forward to talking to her every time.
Rachel is a great active listener and is insightful. Her compassion can be felt with her suggestions and understanding. I am very grateful for her guidance and support and valuable expertise.
I was nervous about singing up for this as my issues are judgeable and delicate. I also was hoping for a male counsellor as that was the point of view I was hoping to get. After reading about many of the therapists available I chose Rachel Tiede and I am so happy that I did. Her support and insights have been invaluable
Great supportive counselor, who gives you amazing resources and support to navigate difficult times and issues.
Very professional and accommodating to my schedule.
I find the way she approaches things is brilliant. She allows me to talk through things and let's me come to my own solutions, just guiding me in a super helpful way. Works brilliantly for me!
Rachel has truly been a blessing in my life. This has been my first experience with online therapy, and I am amazed at Rachel's ability to draw insights and express empathy through the written word. We often go the route of live chats for our sessions, and I can absolutely say my connection to her as a therapist feels just as "real" as my in-person experiences with therapy! She is also responsive and helpful in between our sessions, and she checks in regularly if I get busy and forget to reach out or schedule an appointment. I can't recommend Rachel highly enough!
Rachel is an excellent therapist,I would definitely recommend her
Rachel has been very helpful, she has pulled me through some difficult times and got me back on the right path. I would strongly recommend her for a counselor.
She's my guardian angel. Im not sure where I'd be without her!
Rachel is very responsive and thoughtful.
Rachel has been very helpful at making me realize where I have been struggling with communication and how my anxiety affects my ability to cope with daily life. Through talking with her, she's helped shed light on a lot of things I need to work on, it's incredible what we've been able to accomplish in such a short time.
Rachel is a phenomenal counselor. She has a great sense of humor, is very understanding and accepting, and responds to messages in a timely manner. I find that every problem I work through with her ends up leaving me with great insights and a better understanding of myself thanks to her.
Rachel has been helping me with a very hard time in my life. Very receptive, insightful and kind! Could not have chosen a better match.
Extremely professional and a brilliant confidante. She always makes sure to check in on me but also gives me the space I need to grow and develop. I am extremely happy to have her on this journey with me to recovery.
Rachel has helped me thru so many things in the year + I've worked with her. Her compassion and understanding have been such a blessing in my self healing journey.
Rachel is awesome and I always look forward to talking to her.
Rachel has already begun chipping away at my crippling anxiety within just a few weeks of counseling. I’ve worked with plenty of other counseling services/doctors before, but always ended up quitting due to needing to leave my house to get treatment. Rachel’s ability to help me from the comfort of my own home is priceless to me.
Rachel listens, supports, and asks great thoughtful questions. She does a great job of balancing the need to explore cognitions with the simple ability to allow you to process your own story. Her worksheets are also quite helpful. I would recommend her highly.
She listens and provides quick feedback through messaging and tries to help find solutions with you in order to move through problems.
I enjoyed working with Rachel. She really listened to my concerns and helped me think through the situations and offered me ways to approach the problems at hand. I always felt that she had my best interests at heart!
Rachel continues to be amazing and understanding, helping me through a really tough life situation. She has offered me incredibly helpful support and advice.

She understands me so well just through my messages. The questions she posts to me, are so helpful and it's help me understand what I should do or should not do, just why replying to her questions. She is a wonderful counselor and also can make one feel very good about oneself. I would definitely recommend Rachel to all those looking for help.
While I haven't worked with Rachel for very long she has already provided me with a safe space that I can express and work through my emotions and problems with her patient guidance.
I have recommended this site to a dear friend, I hope she uses it. We went through a terrible situation at work together and neither of us have recovered from it.

I find it helpful that I can talk to her when it is convenient for me. I work at nights and it is nice to not have to go some where that would take extra time out of my day to drive. She has been helpful and I am comfortable talking about things.
I love Rachel. Not only does she respond to me when I need her eg when I am having a rough time, but she also reaches out to check on me when she hasn't heard from me in more than 3 or so days. I feel like she is genuinely invested in my well being.

I have to say Rachel is the best thing that ever happened to me. I've had issues that have plagued me all my life, and never fully understood, Rachel has patiently and lovingly listened and encouraged me to see myself in a new light. If you have been matched with Rachel as your councilor you very lucky, no one does it better...thank you Rachel.
Rachel is amazing.
Rachel was very timely in her responses and offered me practical tips to improve my marriage. She gave great feedback and helped me feel like I had a caring support person to reach out to when in-person visits were not possible with my work/home schedule.
I was getting discouraged with the counselling experience I had on here but then I was paired with Rachel. She seems genuinely interested in my story and in helping me through my mental illness and life conflicts. Rachel is quick to respond and provides thought out responses. I am looking forward to our first live session.
Rachel is a great listener with affirmative words and is a constant source of encouragement. She also has good insight into people's thoughts and actions and attempts to use these to cater to the clients' needs. She allows you to go at your own pace and develops ways to encourage you to think differently about your issues. The best part was that she was quite responsive and would answer as soon as possible. I would like her to possibly show a bit more of tough love and encourage structure in the counselling sessions.
Rachel is great! She always responds quickly when I write a message to her and does a really good job of understanding and taking interest in what's going on with me. I would definitely recommend to someone seeking a potential therapist!
Rachel is very attentive. She believes in the people she helps and that feels great.

Rachel has been very helpful by asking good questions and helping me to find my own insight. She takes the time to respond to all of my questions which leads to a very engaging conversation. I look forward to gaining more insight.
Rachel has been a great help to me. She seems to understand when I am able to talk something through on my own and also when I need guidance to re-think my perception of an event.
Although I have been working with Rachel only for a short time, she has been helping me greatly. She observes things I don't, and sometimes just writing to her makes a difference. I'm really glad I found her and BetterHelp.
